HORMONAL IMBALANCE – CAUSES, SYMPTOMS & TREATMENT

by Fertility, Women0 comments

For a lot of trying to conceive women, Hormonal Imbalance is one of the major challenges they have to overcome so as to conceive.

Yesterday in the evening, a woman called me from Port Harcourt at about 9 pm, even though I wasn’t doing anything at that time, I was tired as I’d had a long day but I knew that what she wanted to talk to a Medical Representative about that late in the night is something that could not wait and I had to provide the listening ear she desperately needed.

By the first minute of our talk on the phone, it became evident to me the reason she needed to talk to someone.

I relate this story from one of my interaction with many women who have spoken with me one time or the other concerning their hormonal imbalance issues and to say that it is a big challenge to a lot of women will be understating the depth of this problem.

Hormones are the go-to chemicals for ensuring the regulation of most body functions, they travel through your bloodstreams to get to your tissues and organs,

Sending messages that tell your organs what to do and when to do it, so hormonal imbalance causes an alteration in the normal flow and effect of hormones which impacts your ability to get pregnant negatively.

Hormonal imbalance is the deficiency of the right amount of hormones in the body.

In the case of a woman trying to get pregnant, hormonal imbalance is an imbalance in the amount of reproductive hormones in her body.

They lead to low or heavy periods, infertility, and endometriosis.
